Richmond confirms that young key forward Shelby Knoll will be placed on the inactive list for the 2024 AFLW season.

Knoll, 23, suffered an ACL injury in October at training, cutting short her debut season at the Club after promising performances at scrimmage level.

“Shelby will remain a part of our program in 2024, but by being placed as inactive, will be able to take a conservative approach to her return to playing,” Richmond Head of Women's Football, Kate Sheahan said.

“Another year in a professional environment will do her well, and we look forward to seeing her back at the Club next year.”

Richmond holds selections 13 and 43 at tonight's AFLW Draft.
